Replacement of Tank-to-Bowl Gasket

Replacement of Tank-to-bowl Gasket
If you observe water leakage from the tank, the tank-to-bowl gasket may be damaged or worn out. In this case, you need to replace the tank-to-bowl gasket.
Dry any water that leaked onto the floor,
Check for water leaking from the tank,
Check if the tank is loose by gently shaking it,
Turn off the shut-off valve to stop the tank from refilling,
Remove the tank lid and flush to empty the tank,
Loosen the screws inside the tank,
Lift the tank from the bowl and lay it sideways on a blanket on the floor to access the bottom part of the tank,
Check the tank-to-bowl gasket for any deformation and replace the gasket,
Tighten the screws in the tank,
Then place the tank on the bowl,
Tighten the bolts at the bottom of the tank,
Then reconnect the supply line to the tank,
Turn on the shut-off valve and fill the tank with water, and
Flush again, check for leaks in the system, and reinstall the tank lid.
